There are several websites with important information on conscience and war.
- The GI Rights Network is a private, nonprofit, nongovernmental organization that answers thousands of calls from military personnel and their families. It provides accurate, helpful counseling and information on military discharges, AWOL and UA, and GI Rights. Here is the link for the GI Rights Hotline: http://girightshotline.org/en/
- The Truth Commission on Conscience in War is the first nationwide attempt to examine the questions of conscience facing our nation’s service members, military regulations governing freedom of conscience, and the moral and spiritual injuries of war. The Commission launched on March 21, 2010 with a Public Hearing at the historic Riverside Church in New York City. See: http://conscienceinwar.org/
