Thank you for your support of the causes of peace, justice and care of creation, especially in these troubling times. Lancaster Interchurch Peace Witness (LIPW) is a nonprofit grassroots association grounded on the conviction that God calls us to pursue peace and justice for everyone, everywhere, and to care responsibly for the earth. Dedicated to promoting these values, we sponsor events that educate the public to concerns, both local and global, and promote actions that witness to their importance.

- January 6, 2017 – Ambassador John B. Craig will describe and assess the human and political crisis in Syria at an 8:00 AM breakfast at the Country Table restaurant in Mt. Joy.
- January 14, 2017 – Address by the international attorney and activist Jonathan Kuttab, on the topic Palestinian Efforts to Achieve Peace with Justice, and How U.S. Christians Can Help, 7:00 p.m. at Blossom Hill Mennonite Church, 333 Delp Rd., Lancaster.
- February 4 – Forum on the Islamic Republic of Iran, presented by four members of a delegation of 16 Americans and Canadians who visited Iran Nov. 18 – Dec. 3, 2016 and met with Iranian leaders, officials and scholars. To be held 9:00 AM at Lancaster Church of the Brethren, 1601 Sunset Ave., Lancaster.
- February 26 – Annual Meeting will be a conversation with Nick Miron, director of Social Justice and Advocacy at Lancaster YWCA & Mark Clatterbuck, Associate Professor of Native American Religion at Montclair State University in NJ regarding the situation at Standing Rock with the proposed Dakota Access Pipeline. Both have traveled there, and both intend on returning soon. 3-5PM – (location TBD)
