The Department of Veterans Affairs reports that there are more than 22 suicides every day. That’s a suicide every 65 minutes.
Professor Kieran has just returned from Amsterdam where he attended an event on Militarism and the Environment. His teaching and research focus on contemporary U.S. culture including the place of the military in American society, and the public remembrance of war from Vietnam to the War on Terror.
